Kevin Laux, L.Ac, MAcOM
Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs, NAET Allergy Elimination, Tuina
Kevin is a Licensed acupuncturist and Practitioner of Tuina (Asian-style bodywork). He is also a Chinese Herbologist and his practice includes Essential Oil Therapy—creating individualized blends of oils according to patients’ therapeutic needs. He also practices NAET (Nambudripod's Allergy Elimination Technique), a non-invasive method of ridding the body of food, seasonal and skin allergies.
Kevin’s acupuncture needling technique is gentle, yet subtly intense, and is always combined with bodywork, ranging from subtle energy work to vigorous, deep work, depending on the patient’s needs. He is particularly interested in how emotions affect the physical body, and the process of freeing oneself from stagnating patterns.
Kevin helps his patients overcome allergies, breathing problems, IBS, headaches (including migraines), fatigue, low energy, emotional blockage, and all types of pain. Along the way, he nurtures his patients through self-empowerment, and works to help each one return to a state of body/mind harmony, to learn to prevent disease through healthy lifestyles (diet, proper exercise, emotional balancing) and to discover specific techniques for healing oneself and taking command of one’s own health.
