Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a gentle and effective therapy that is used to heal a wide variety of ailments including pain, allergies, depression, poor digestion, hormonal imbalance and more. As ancient forms of medicine, acupuncture and Chinese herbal therapy have been used for over 2,500 years to provide health and balance for millions of people. Acupuncture boosts the immune system, relaxes the nervous system and provides the ideal environment for optimal health. Acupuncture treatments include an herbal consultation.

Pediatric Acupressure
Pediatric Acupressure follows the same philosophy as Acupuncture but does not include needle placement. Instead, acupoints are massaged to produce the same result as is appropriate for children and infants. This therapy is utilized to resolve the same issues as acupuncture, but also includes childhood concerns such as immune boosting, ADD/ADHD, colic, etc. Includes an herbal consultation; any herbal prescription is customized for each individual child.

Chinese Herbal Consultations
An acupuncturist with extensive herbal training will discuss any complaints (physical, emotional or mental), ask questions, examine the tongue and pulse and will give a Chinese Medical diagnosis of the patient's state of health as a whole and explain why the symptoms are manifesting. The practitioner will then write a Chinese Herbal prescription specifically tailored to the patient. An appointment usually lasts 15 - 30mins and includes consultation, diagnosis and formulating a prescription (the actual herbs are an additional cost).

NAET Allergy Elimination Technique
NAET, Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique is a specialized type of acupuncture which is a non-invasive method of ridding the body of food, seasonal, and skin allergies.

Tuina
Tuina is an Asian bodywork therapy that, like acupuncture, works with the meridians in the body to bring a balanced state of health. In does not involve needles but rather acupressure is applied to increase the flow of qi. This is a great therapy for pain management, getting at the root pain and resolving energy blockages that cause pain.

Rolfing®
Rolfing® is the art and science of reshaping the human body so that it is better balanced and aligned; better "structurally integrated" to use Dr. Ida Rolf's term. Rolfers specifically look at how gravity has been shortening and collapsing a body in order to see and know how to undo the negative effects of your personal history. The effects of this kind of change are many: Bodies experience far fewer aches and pains, along with greater ease and freedom of movement. And after Rolfing people tend to be happier, more confident, and deal with stress much better too.
Rolfing is usually done in a 10-session basic series with each session lasting from 1 to 1 1/2 hours, and scheduled from once a week to once a month apart.

Massage Therapy

Pregnancy Massage
When the person receiving a massage is pregnant, knowledge of pregnancy and the anatomy of a pregnant woman are very important. This means that positioning during a massage is critical to the safety and well-being of both the mother and the baby she is carrying. There are also parts of the body that should not be massaged. Pregnancy massage is a great tool for relieving the pain and stress specific to pregnancy.
